Applied Testing Services

Drug Candidate Testing: Ion Channels and Membrane Electrophysiology

Assessment of drug candidate effects on ion channels, transporters, pumps, ionic currents, and membrane potential. In its core, it is using Electrophysiology and Functional Cellular Analysis to assess drug candidate effects.

Drug Candidate Testing: Cellular Metabolism and Bioenergetics

Evaluation of drug candidate effects on cellular metabolism, mitochondrial function, and energetic regulation. In its core, it is using Cellular Bioenergetics and Mitochondrial Function Analysis as well as elements of Fluorescence Microscopy and Image Analysis to assess drug candidate effects.

Drug Candidate Testing: Cardiomyocyte Contractility

Assessment of drug candidate effects on cardiomyocyte contraction and excitation–contraction coupling. For that, Microscopy and Image Analysis is combined with Electrophysiology and Functional Cellular Analysis.
