This is a web framework for developing site-specific applications that allow you to enter data into and query the database. The code has been developed for scientific laboratory use to enter data describing experiments, solutions, chemicals, and similar items. It is part of a set of open-source tools intended to handle experimental-data flow through a database backend.
To use this framework, users will need a configured database and web server. In practice, for scientific laboratories, the local IT department is expected to make the necessary preparations. See the software project page and its README for details.
